Taxi drivers 'have brain sat-nav'
The thing I really hate about Sydney taxi drivers is their inablity to navigate anywhere without guidance from their passengers. I am sometimes surprised to arrive home at all after particularly ‘fun’ nights due to my own lack of knowledge of this city I’ve only recently begun living in.
Anyway, some research into London cabbies, the best in the world, despite their love of the chat.
Scans from early 80s computer magazines bring me out all nostalgeek.
I don’t know Robert Heinlein’s work but I love the way he responded to fan mail by creating an answer sheet to some frequently asked questions where he could tick off the appropriate answer before sending it back.
